Join us in creating your very own large scale woodblock print. The art of woodblock printing is a very beautiful and bold art form.

Participants will be guided through the block prep process, proper carving techniques and how to operate a printing press. Leave with a set edition of 18"x24" prints and your own woodblocks.

Session 1 - (2/21) will go over the transferring and drawing process as well as how to carve. From there, students will have 4 weeks to crave at home with tools provided through the workshop. All the caving tools will be yours to keep.

Session 2- (3/28) - Students will arrive with their fully carved blocks and will be guided through the printing process. Each participant will leave with an edition of 4 prints and a set of carving tools.

No prior printmaking experience needed.
